Candidate will have the flexibility to work from their home office.

This will be a project specific assignment which is expected to last 6 months. We anticipate work on the other side of this project, but it is not guaranteed.

The Right Work. The Right People. The Right Culture.
Right of Way is where infrastructure meets innovation—shaping roads, utilities, and communities for the future. At ORC, we offer more than a job—we offer purpose, stability, and growth. Join a team that values collaboration, respects your work-life balance, and empowers you to make a lasting impact.

What you will be doing:

As a Document Specialist you will partner with Project Managers, Estimating Managers and ROW agents in analyzing and tracking financial budgets, schedules, and project statuses, ensuring that Work Authorizations, invoicing, and various reporting needs are timely and accurate. You will prepare status update reports and monitor emerging issues on projects to ensure they are resolved to meet targeted in-service dates. Additionally, you will maintain project updates in the client project management tool. You will assist the team in identifying, developing, improving, and implementing key processes to ensure controls and accuracy against performance measures. Evaluating priorities and risks, you will raise awareness and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project in-service dates and budget levels are met. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively.
  • Is responsible and demonstrates organizational and planning skills.
  • Has a desire to learn.
  • Is analytical and detail oriented.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced administrative office setting.
  • Models strong customer service orientation.

What we are offering:

  • Generous base pay
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401K and disability coverage
  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional training
  • Calm Membership to support wellness
  • Recognition programs, growth opportunities, and a family-friendly atmosphere
  • Stable and steady work

Here are the minimum requirements:

  • Prior experience as an office administrator, paralegal, court or document clerk or equivalent profession
  • Document preparation and/or data entry experience
  • Must be technologically proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, along with other electronic databases. Has to be comfortable operating in a digital document environment.
